Our Coast is awash with some of the best local produce in Australia. In particular the main rivers from Batemans Bay to Wonboyn are renowned worldwide for their delicious farm fresh oysters. Visitors from far and wide are attracted to these sweet plump aphrodisiacs.  To celebrate these delicacies, the Narooma Oyster Festival holds an annual extravaganza each year on the shores of the stunning Wagonga Inlet where visitors and locals get to indulge in a variety of estuary farms tasting the sublet differences between each. Likewise EAT Merimbula is a celebration of the local chefs and produce of Merimbula and surrounds.

Another foodie highlight of the Coast is the dairy industry. Bodalla has been producing cheese for more than 150 years and now houses a modern boutique cheese factory and retro café. Kids and adults can get up close and personal with the poddy calves which are bottle fed daily. In the historic village of Central Tilba, the ABC Cheese Factory which was established in 1891 and was the first cheese co-operative in New South Wales.
